Find Support

Participating in or witnessing civic engagement can sometimes be distressing or challenging. If you experience difficulties, please reach out to available resources for support and assistance.

Resources

Mental Health

Students can access many campus mental health services such as:

  • Mental Health @ UMN to anonymously answer a few questions to get connected to the right help, right now.
  • Mental Health Services including identity based affinity groups, workshops, a drop-in urgent mental health clinic.
24/7 UMN Crisis Line by calling 612-301-4673 to talk to someone now.

The Employee Assistance Program offers free wellbeing care to faculty and staff.

Legal Assistance

University Student Legal Service is free for UMN Twin Cities student fee paying students.

Non-U.S. citizens may face different consequences based on their legal status. International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) has prepared a resource for non-citizen students looking to participate in protests or demonstrations. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
