Aurora Center for Advocacy & Education

Aurora provides crisis intervention, advocacy, information, referral services, emotional support, engaging presentations, and trainings regarding issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment. We serve students, faculty, and staff of all genders, both those who are victim/survivors and those who are allies/concerned persons.

Boynton Health

Boynton Health delivers comprehensive health care services with a public health approach to campus well-being. Medical services, including urgent care, are available to all students, faculty and staff at East Bank and St. Paul clinics. Student groups actively promote peer health, including nutrition, sexual health and stress management, and campus-wide health initiatives range from weekly therapy animal teams on campus to flu and biometric health screening clinics. Boynton also provides high-quality, affordable healthcare plans for students.

Care Program

The Care Program provides coordinated care, support, and resources to students as they navigate the University and pursue their academic and personal goals. The Care Managers work to foster student development and wellbeing by offering a supportive, personalized response when difficulties arise.

Career & Internship Services

Serving College of Continuing Education, College of Design, and College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences

Career & Internship Services helps students explore career opportunities, prepares them with the skills necessary to enter the workplace, and helps them conduct effective job or graduate school searches. The Center also works closely with companies and organizations looking to recruit students for internships and/or full-time employment. 

Career Services Administration

Career Services Administration provides centrally coordinated, career services initiatives including Handshake (the University's job posting and resume database), the annual University of Minnesota Job & Internship Fair, and career support for undergraduate international students.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Fraternity & Sorority Life is dedicated to enhancing and enriching the student experience by supporting Greek life on campus. In addition to working closely with Greek organizations, we also assist students and parents with questions about fraternities and sororities at the University.

Leadership Education and Development - Undergraduate Programs (LEAD-UP)

LEAD-UP offers leadership development experiences for undergraduates including enrichment programs, an academic minor in leadership, and leadership abroad opportunities.

Multicultural Student Engagement

Multicultural Student Engagement provides opportunities for all students to increase awareness, understanding and appreciation of diverse populations and supports academic, social, and professional development of multicultural students. We assist in student and leadership development through supporting and advising student cultural groups and by providing leadership in the areas of student success, retention, and campus education. 

Off-Campus Living

Off-Campus Living promotes strong relationships between University students and neighboring communities through community organizing. Working with commuter students and students who live in neighborhoods near the University, we also provide renter education and develop active and respectful citizens. 

Office for Community Standards

The Office for Community Standards works with students, faculty, and staff to uphold the Student Conduct Code as it applies to both academic and non-academic behavior and expectations.

Parent & Family Program

The Parent & Family Program is available to answer questions, help navigate the university, assist in finding the appropriate resources and help talk through any challenges that parents and family members of our students are experiencing.

Radio K

Radio K (KUOM), Real College Radio, is the award-winning student-run radio station of the University of Minnesota, playing an eclectic variety of independent music both old and new. Radio K educates students, breaks ground in musical programming, and provides cutting-edge cultural coverage through our specialty shows and Real College Podcast.

Student Advocate Services

Student Advocate Services provide assistance to students who have been accused of or charged with violating the Student Conduct Code, University Housing policy, or other academic or conduct policies. 

This includes:

  • Scholastic misconduct (cheating, plagiarism, honor code violations)
  • Behavioral misconduct (e.g. drugs, underage drinking, disorderly conduct, theft)
  • Sexual misconduct or Title IX violations (sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking)

Student Conflict Resolution Center

The Student Conflict Resolution Center (SCRC) provides confidential, impartial, and informal conflict resolution services to all Twin Cities campus students who are experiencing University-related problems or concerns. An SCRC staff person can help clarify the nature and scope of the problem, and identify options for resolution.

Student Counseling Services

Student Counseling Services offers counseling, classes, workshops, and presentations addressing mental health and life concerns, learning and academic skills challenges, and career uncertainty.

Student Legal Service

Student Legal Service represents, advises, and educates students in legal matters such as landlord/tenant law, family law, consumer issues, immigration law, and misdemeanor offenses. We also offer a "Career Exploration" program to students interested in pursuing law or a law related profession.

Student Parent HELP Center

Student Parent HELP Center offers programs and services that are designed to promote access, retention, and academic success for U of M undergraduate students who are also parents. Includes child care assistance grants, advocacy and referral, support groups, lounge space, computer center, and programs.

Student Services Fee

The Student Service Fee (SSF) at the University of Minnesota enhances the student experience and provides services and support that benefits the campus community.

Student Unions & Activities

Student Unions & Activities provides a place with convenient services in Coffman Memorial Union, St. Paul Student Center, and the West Bank Skyway, for a diverse community to get involved, experience events, and develop skills to enhance the social, educational, and cultural environment of the University of Minnesota.

University Recreation & Wellness

University Recreation & Wellness offers hundreds of recreation, exercise, and sport opportunities for the University community and operates the University Recreation and Wellness Center, University Aquatic Center, University Fieldhouse, St. Paul Gymnasium, Student Recreational Sports Fields and Dome, West Bank Fields, St. Paul Soccer Fields, St. Paul Tennis Courts, and Les Bolstad University Golf Course. Amenities in University Recreation and Wellness indoor facilities include fourteen handball/racquetball courts, eleven squash courts, ten multi-use rooms and studios, six gymnasiums, five swimming pools, three indoor running tracks, and two rock climbing walls. The facilities also offer more than 500 treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, weight machines, and other pieces of exercise equipment.
