Students who participate in the following Student Affairs programs and services have significantly higher first-year retention rates compared to their peers who did not participate in those programs or services:
- Fraternities and sororities through the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life
- Leadership Enrichment Programs & Leadership Minor
- Parent and family orientation and parent and family weekend through the Parent & Family Program (higher first-year retention for Pell students and first-generation students; higher second-year retention for all students)
- Multicultural Student Engagement events and Cultural Center Officers
- Student Unions & Activities Events, employment, and organizations, and officers and leaders of organizations
Students who participate in the following Student Affairs programs and services have significantly higher four-year graduation rates compared to their peers who did not participate in those programs or services:
- Fraternities and sororities through the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life
- Leadership Enrichment Programs & Leadership Minor
- Student Unions & Activities Events, employment, and organizations, and officers and leaders of organizations
