Student Wellbeing

Dear students,

As we approach the end of February and are nearing mid-semester, I want to remind you of the importance of taking your personal wellness seriously. OSA has many exciting programs to encourage and inspire a healthy lifestyle:

Last Monday, February 13th, the Recreation and Wellness Center launched our new Social Wellness Initiative campaign and unveiled a brand-new display created in collaboration with NIRSA, Leaders in Collegiate Recreation. The mural highlights the diverse and inclusive history of campus recreation across the United States.

We invite you to take part in RecWell’s Project Positivity week from February 27th to March 3rd! Help spread the message of body confidence across campus! Activities throughout the week include: Pet Away Stress (PAWS), Red Cross Blood Drive, Glow in the Dark fitness, and much more!

Part of our mission at OSA is to connect students with the amazing resources available across the University to motivate and strengthen wellbeing. As students, you are the driving force of our success.

Good luck in your academics and make sure to enjoy the beautiful weather, while it is still in our favor!
