Students who are mentored by a student affairs professional and those who participate in the following Student Affairs programs and practices have significantly higher complex cognitive skills (e.g., ability to critically analyze information, learn independently, locate information) compared to their peers:
- Multicultural Student Engagement
- Student Unions & Activities campus-wide programming boards, student organizations, and officers and leaders of organizations
- RecWell instructor-led group fitness course
- Student Counseling Services
- Leadership Enrichment Programs & Leadership Minor
